English at Pathfinder = learning the language + developing skills. The needs and context of our learners play a key role in designing course materials. Yes, we aren’t lazy to do everything to make learning engaging and relevant. So we’re more likely to discuss productivity tips rather than a recipe of your grandma’s cake 🙂 That’s why we’re not using textbooks. They are good for language learners, but they aren’t good for OUR learners.
We usually use Zoom as it’s well-designed for online classes. But if you have other preferences in conferencing platforms ( Google Meet, Whereby, Telegram, Messenger and Microsoft Teams) – we’ll take whatever you’re used to. Just make sure you have good Internet speed and a positive mood 🙂
